I like to add dried chili or other spicy peppers to the mix -creating a sharp, intense energy and environment that pushes everything to the extreme.

Description: Matuh is a dark spirit born from the stagnant breath of despair and the failing pulse of fortune; He has Hellborn blood, but only partially -He’s a hybrid abomination. He governs the unseen decay that creeps into the foundations of life -sickness in the blood, cracks in the home, loss in the harvest, and ruin in the heart. He does not strike with rage but with inevitability. Where Matuh’s current flows, small misfortunes grow into great collapses, and health becomes fragile as glass.

His presence is often heralded by mosquitoes, flies, and other parasitic insects - living emissaries of His essence. The air thickens when He draws near, carrying a subtle, almost metallic scent, followed by nausea, vertigo, and sometimes dizziness and/or feverish chills -symptoms especially harsher if the summoner possesses a high percentage of feminine shaktic energy. Those unshielded in His presence report trembling hands and distorted perception, as if the air itself rejects harmony.

Matuh is not to be approached directly. His obedience is bound solely by pact — and only those who are in communion with His master, Lord Kuut’Lur, may command Him. Without this link, He ignores all invocations, and any attempt to summon Him without authority may result in spiritual sickness or catastrophic turns of fate.

Matuh. Evil daemon spirit of curses.
Bringer of diseases, home accidents, extreme misfortune, and poverty.

Associated with the presence of mosquitoes, His manifestation can lead to nausea and even dizziness during His most intense energetic impositions.

Let no practitioner summon Matuh without preparation and inner fortitude. His current tests the mind as much as it curses the target. Without mastery of one’s own energy and emotional equilibrium, His vibration may turn inward, cursing the summoner themselves.

Veve / Seal:
His simple symbol alone attracts descent, fracture, and contagion.
The seal should be inscribed on paper, parchment, or iron mixed with stale blood or the ashes of spoiled grain, upon a surface of decaying wood or broken stone.

Do not leave His seal open or charged in your ritual chamber unless it is contained within your magickal Cauldron. You may destroy it after your operation (burning is the best option); alternatively, it can be hidden or buried near the victim’s home or a place they habitually frequent (work, gym, etc.).

Offerings:
Rotten fruit, stagnant water, black candles, and coins covered in dust. He accepts no sweet scents -only those that carry the musk of corruption or the echo of loss.

Manifestation & Communication:
When invoked properly, Matuh’s energy appears as a heavy, dark vibration that dulls light and sound. The atmosphere becomes humid and oppressive; the flicker of flame grows unstable. In dreams, He may appear as a shadow with many wings -the wings of swarming insects -or as a man with hollow eyes, whispering through the buzz of flies -these are just obscure aspects of His real and true form.

At the beginning, His frequency can be felt as a very low pulsating pressure. Communication attempts may become difficult if the operator does not know how to read or translate His emissions of low frequencies -at first unintelligible or fragmented into broken, low-toned words that are hard to understand. The summoner will have to open his or her senses -perhaps too recklessly- in order to process and digest the verbatrium of Matuh.

Function:
Matuh’s influence can be channeled to unravel fortune, inflict decay upon prosperity, or bring weakness to the proud. Yet, those who employ His power without restraint risk attracting His attention beyond intent -for Matuh feeds on imbalance, and what He takes from one, He may mirror upon another.

He is not evil for the sake of evil -He is correction through chaos, balance through undoing. To command Him is to walk barefoot across the shards of one’s own fate.

A very important point to consider: even under the authority of His Master, Matuh functions as a single, personal principle: He enacts curses and maledictions only when the practitioner has already suffered a substantial measure of pain inflicted by the target. If the practitioner seeks to curse someone “just because,” without having truly been harmed or tormented by that person, Matuh will refuse to obey or the punishment delivered will be significantly weaker.

“Pain is the only true offering, I do not move for anger alone, nor for empty wrath. I answer the pulse of wounds, the echo of despair that still bleeds beneath your ribs. Bring me your suffering made pure -your agony forged into intent- and I shall strike with precision unseen by gods. But if you summon me in vanity, I will turn your hollow curse inward, so you may learn what true pain demands.”

-Matuh.

:warning: WARNING!: Matuh will only obey correctly if the operator is in a state of communion (possession) with His Master, Kuut´Lur, and follows the specific ritual procedures stated in the Obsidian Pact. Any attempt to command or contact Him through other methods may lead to failure -or something far worse. Do not invoke, evoke, or call His name if you are unfamiliar with the proper practice.
