Arnur

Arnur is the Beast-Daemon of the deep Earth, a primordial force born between the wild and the telluric. One of the major hidden daemon-gods ruling over therian nature, lycanthropy, winter, and the land-without-sea. Neither an underworld Lord nor a creature of orderly realms, He is older than formal pacts, moving with the instinct of a wolf-god and the endurance of stone. His presence blends animal ferocity with the slow, ancient pulse of the subterranean world. When He appears, He often takes the form of an immense black wolf whose limbs stretch unnaturally long, with obsidian claws and ribs glowing faintly beneath fur that shifts like living soil and roots. Crystalline plates jut from His spine like volcanic shards, and His amber eyes shine like fractures in darkness. Even His breath carries the scent of damp forest and storm, and when He roars, the ground itself seems to answer.

Arnur’s power is rooted in the raw forces of earth, instinct, and the hidden layers beneath all things. He moves terrain as easily as a beast moves through brush, and His presence strengthens the bones, senses, and resolve of those He chooses to stand beside. He uncovers what is buried (physically or spiritually) breaking through illusions by reconnecting the seeker to what is real. In astral spaces He appears as a massive wolf-guide, cold and fearless, teaching clarity over panic and instinct over noise.

He is not a servant but a dangerous ally who respects quiet strength, coherence, and honesty. Arnur rejects false bravado and demands determination rather than devotion. To those He finds worthy He is fiercely protective; to those who lie, He is merciless. His domain echoes through black wolves, roots and damp earth, obsidian, mountains, and the dark moon. Humans who act with grounded resolve, who respect nature, or who feel kinship with animals tend to draw His attention. His approach is sensed as a subterranean heartbeat, the smell of fresh soil, or the steady awareness of being watched in the dark, evaluated, but not threatened, by an ancient, wild intelligence.

Nature: Arnur is a primordial daemon, half animal-deity and half subterranean entity, born from the boundary between the wild and the telluric. He belongs to no orderly underworld; He is an ancient, untamed force, older even than daemonic pacts. As a wolf-god beast, Arnur embodies both brutal physical strength and the patient endurance of stone.

Appearance: Arnur usually manifests as:

  • A massive black wolf with exaggerated proportions: long limbs, obsidian-like claws, and ribs glowing with a faint reddish light.
  • Fur that seems made of damp earth, roots, and dust, shifting as if it breathes.
  • Mineral plates, like volcanic crystals, jutting from his shoulders and spine.
  • Bright amber eyes that open like cracks in the darkness.
  • Breath that smells of ancient forest, metal, and storm.
  • When he roars, the ground trembles slightly, as if the inner layers of the earth were answering Him.

Powers: Arnur governs three main aspects:

  1. Wild Earth (Primitive Terrakinesis)
  • Raising or sinking terrain.
  • Redirecting vibrations or blows.
  • Temporarily strengthening the bones and muscles of the summoner.
  1. Bestial Instinct
  • Heightens senses, danger perception, and reading of intentions.
  • Inspires cold, controlled courage.
  • Enters astral spaces as a fierce “wolf guide.”
  1. Subterranean Heart
  • Locates what is hidden (secrets, people, objects buried or concealed).
  • Purges stagnant or “rotted” energies.
  • Breaks illusions or lies by connecting with what is authentic.

Temperament: Arnur is not a servile daemon, but a dangerous ally who respects strength, coherence, and calm.

  • He does not tolerate cowardice disguised as aggression.
  • He does not demand worship - He demands determination.
  • He is protective of those he deems worthy, but ferocious toward those who lie to Him.
-He is not “evil,” but wild, territorial, and blunt.

Domain / Symbols:

  • Black wolf (Grey or brown sometimes).
  • Damp earth / roots.
  • Mountains.
  • Obsidian.
  • New moon (dark moon).
  • Places where the earth vibrates: caves, fault lines, ancient forests.

Relationship with Humans: Arnur responds especially to people who:

  • are quiet but strong in character,
  • act more than they speak,
  • respect nature,
  • or feel a connection to the animal world.

His presence is often perceived as:

  • a “heartbeat” beneath one’s feet,
  • the smell of damp earth,
  • or the feeling of being watched from the darkness with respect, not hostility.
