In a remarkable archaeological find, a marble statue of the goddess Artemis (Diana), the Huntress, dating back to the 2nd century AD, was unearthed in a niche within the excavations at “Casa con le Terrazze” (the House with Terraces) in the ancient city of Ephesus, now located near Selcuk, Turkey.
